Description
A newcomer has been assigned to work for the Cheat Item Management Bureau – Victim Recovery Department, a division responsible for protecting and recovering victims affected by various cheat items capable of mind control, time stop, and other supernatural abilities. Hard disagree. That's what erotic manga and erotic anime are about. You can have your preferences of course. But your opinion isn't the only valid one. EroAni that is full of pure crazy sex action is great. EroAni with some plot and even comedy, some romance, slice of life, wholesomeness, etc or stuff that makes you attached to characters in general... is also great. You're allowed to prefer one over the other and love that one more, but there's no need for a divide or acting like one is better than the other. It's EroAni, after all. And unless you've degenned so down the deep end in the gutters, we're all watching it to be turned on and rub one out, both guys and girls alike. It doesn't need to be treated like watching a Korean Drama or some other romcom/chick flick. Keep it a buck now. Real life romance and relationships are another thing entirely, but I'm still not going to judge an adult's lifestyle and choices if they aren't hurting anyone and it's only ever consensual. Foreplay, flirting and "working up to it" in both Ero-Ani and porn are just filler, not even the icing or cherry on top. It's of virtually no consequence. But if I'm just starting and trying to find something to watch, I might go for something with more plot and story whether it's one I've watched already so it's easy to find, or I ask around or look at reviews/discussions without too many spoilers if I care about those on a given day. My mind is less of a rock and more like water though. While I want to say it's all about your mind (one of the aspects that affects arousal), you can control it still. Only if you have the willpower though. Even someone such as yourself who seems very against something with no plot and 100% intense fucking, I guarantee. It's possible to flip a switch in your head and get turned on almost immediately from it. Just like how someone who's trained could keep themselves from getting hard or wet while out in public seeing certain things, or watching a movie, an anime which are most of the time full of fanservice. Playing a game that has women dressed and built very sexually, etc etc. Your mind just isn't in that space for a lot of these things. So I think that's what causes this when you watch or read erotic contents. Doing it in repetition will also make it seem like it's out of your control, but you soon realize the only prison that can be made in your mind, is your own making. No one else truly has control over that, even if they might try to. We aren't in a stage of human evolution or technology for people to actually do that without basic influences and planting seeds, etc. (Even people doing that, it's your own mind that nurtures it)

i really appreciate what you wrote cause i'm going through the exact same thing. sometimes i just want something instant that gets straight to the point instead of spending time setting up the world or prologue. but the older i get, the harder it is to actually enjoy things the instant way. that's why nowadays i prefer eroani with a solid plot, where everything happens for a reason
i've been watching eroani since middle school, like 12-13 years ago, so i've seen a ton of hentai anime. honestly, most of them are total trash because they’re literally made for trash society members like us. but one of the titles i watched is "KITE," which is actually my profile picture right now. it's a 1998 hentai that barely has any adult scenes because it focuses so heavily on a dark and gritty story. but when it finally hits the climax, it feels amazing. another title i love is "yama hime no mi episode 3," where almost half the episode builds up a massive plot twist. for people like me, that makes it so much better because you actually feel the tension of the situation, instead of just seeing characters hook up for no reason. (not saying that's wrong, it's just that instant gratification doesn't hit the spot for everyone). anyway, i'm just rambling here lol. but my main point is that i get everyone has their own taste and way of doing things, and we have no right to judge. some people want to get straight to the point, while others need the context and buildup. plus, mood plays a huge role and it's super random since we can't control it, which probably explains why someone might want something instant one day and need context the next
and that's just the story part don't even get me started on the visuals. honestly, modern hentai anime rarely looks good. take "paihame kazoku" for example to me, it's just gross and does absolutely nothing for me. you probably get what i mean if you've seen it. my point is, if the story has that much impact on how much the viewer enjoys it, the visuals are even more crucial since that's the whole selling point of hentai anime
