that's why i said that it's another story. I meant in general. Anime, video games, etc. localization is trash and always has been and always will be lol. But okay so it's done completely with AI? That makes sense as to why most hentai in recent years has the most random and bizarre subtitles. It can be normal at some points but then just gets weird and objectively incorrect. So I tend to turn it off and watch raw instead. But when an anime series or season gets added outside of Japan to either UK or America for instance, they change the subs to match the dub in most cases and scrap the old superior english subs and it completely ruins it. Because for some reason they can't just have 2 english options. Yes, even when on Japanese version of netflix, it still gets overwritten by the new english.
