that's why i said that it's another story. I meant in general. Anime, video games, etc. localization is trash and always has been and always will be lol. But okay so it's done completely with AI? That makes sense as to why most hentai in recent years has the most random and bizarre subtitles. It can be normal at some points but then just gets weird and objectively incorrect. So I tend to turn it off and watch raw instead. I watch most anime no subs either, as well as playing most games with the Japanese language option because even with voices in japanese, the localized english ruins it (changing names, the entire conversation being completely different to what they're saying in Japanese, etc) And this is all well-documented lol. The last anime I watched with subtitles on that wasn't Japanese Netflix only (because subtitlers there have actual quality control and standards/know how to translate competently) I think was CyberPunk Edgerunners. And maybe an episode or two in I turned them off and swapped to actual Japanese subs instead for the entire series and was just fine. It wasn't a super complex one either so even though it was years ago and I've learned more and more every year even after that, I had zero issues or ever needed to turn on english subs. But when an anime series or season gets added outside of Japan to either UK or America for instance, they change the subs to match the dub in most cases and scrap the old superior english subs and it completely ruins it. Because for some reason they can't just have 2 english options. Yes, even when on Japanese version of netflix, it still gets overwritten by the new english.

They are making money by people paying for premium through discord or whatever, the least they could do is go in and edit the script. Does nobody running this site have basic understanding of English or language skills at all? Is that why they're using AI? lollll

When I scrub through AV1-encoded videos, the image becomes distorted. After skipping to a different timestamp, the video stutters and the image becomes completely blurred. I suggest using the older H.264 format to avoid stuttering and distortion when seeking through the video.
